Don’t Forget Your Spring Tune-Up

Change Your Air Filter Regularly
Your air filter should be replaced at least once every ninety days to ensure optimal performance. Now, if you have a washable air filter in place, you can clean it at home in five easy steps.
Shut off the unit completely.
Remove the filter and vacuum it to remove loose dust and dirt.
Use 2-cups water, 2-cups vinegar to soak your filter in the sink for one hour; you can also use the garden hose if it's too big to fit in your sink. Just avoid the pressurized setting.
Air-dry the filter for at least 30 minutes. Do not place a wet or damp filter in your unit.
Reinstall the filter and enjoy the fresh air!
Clean the Outside Condenser
Your AC condenser releases heat, so your house stays cool when it's hot outside. Clean yours by removing any leaves, sticks, and debris around the outside central unit. Clean Your Vents
If you notice any dirt or dust collecting on vents on the ceiling, that's a sign you need to vacuum them ASAP. Please do not enter the vents or insert anything in them; cleaning them from the surface is enough.
