Take Advantage of Home Energy Services Thanks to HES

Another aspect of the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund is that of HES or the Home Energy Solutions program.  This program offers homeowners in the Fairfield County CT area the chance to receive a home energy assessment and weatherization service, in the hopes of promoting better energy efficiency. 

When homeowners take advantage of the Home Energy Solutions plan, a CL&P/UI authorized contractor will perform an energy assessment of the property.  This assessment is thorough and involves making improvements to the HVAC system, improving insulation, as well as sealing or caulking air leaks.  Some homeowners are also eligible to receive rebates on new appliances
